HELP


Menus:

Tap the screen in order to select a button while in a menu or to go to the next cutscene.

 

Climbing:

To start a level, tap Buster to make him jump up and begin climbing.
To move Buster side-to-side on the tree, tilt the device left or right.

Tap on the screen to spit seeds and stun bugs.


Flying:

To move Buster up and down while he's flying, hold the up button to make him fly up. Release the botton to make him drop. 

Tap on the screen to spit seeds at dragonflies and stun them.



Food
Buster will automatically eat fruts and vegetables when he runs into them. The Herbivore upgrade from the orb store will increase the amount of health Buster gains from eating these foods.

Pods:

Eating a pod provides Buster with a small amount of energy and adds 100 points to your score.

Figs:

Eating a fig provides Buster with a medium amount of energy and adds 200 points to your score.

Plantains:

Eating a plantain provides Buster with a large amount of energy and adds 300 points to your score.

Tree Gum:

Eating this fully replenishes Buster's energy. It also grants Buster four seconds of invincibility and a times two score multiplier. There is a very low chance of this appearing in a level and once it does, it won't appear again. You can increase this chance by upgrading Buster's Luck.

Enemies

In order to eat enemies, Buster needs them to be stunned. To stun an enemy, simply tap the screen with your finger to spit a seed at them. Once stunned a circle will appear around the enemy, Buster will eat an enemy upon hitting them. If the enemy is not stunned, then Buster will lose health when he hits them. The Carnivore upgrade will increase the amount of health Buster gains from eating these bugs.

Flies:

These flies are too small to be stunned and will provide Buster with a large amount of energy to start the level, if you time Buster's jump properly.

Snails:

Snails do not move and can be found while Buster is climbing trees. Hitting a snail that hasn't been stunned causes Buster to lose a small amount of energy. Eating a stunned snail provides Buster with a medium amount of energy and adds 400 points to your score.


Beware! Sometimes snails will group up and form a snail wall across a tree.

Beetles:

Beetles move side to side and can be found while Buster is climbing trees. Hitting a beetle that hasn't been stunned causes Buster to lose a large amount of energy. Eating a stunned beetle provides Buster with a large amount of energy and adds 500 points to your score.


Beware! On certain trees, a strange blue beetle can be found that will only be stunned for a short time.

Dragonflies:

Dragonflies move up and down and can be found while Buster is flying on the

Heli-berry. Dragon Flies can also be found at the very end of the game while Buster is climbing up a the tree. They will fly from the top of the tree towards Buster. Hitting a dragonfly that hasn't been stunned causes Buster to lose a large amount of energy. Eating a stunned dragonfly provides Buster with a large amount of energy and adds 500 points to your score.

Obstacles

Obstacles are to be avoided by Buster, if you can help it. If not, he will lose energy. The Endurance upgrade will enable Buster to deal with these obstacles more easily.

Branches:

Branches populate the sections of the game where Buster is flying. Do your best to go around them and conserve your energy for the final climb.

Tree Holes:

Tree holes appear later in the game while Buster is climbing trees. Run over them and get a short speed boost. 

Tree Knot:

Tree knots appear later in the game while Buster is climbing trees. Do your best to go around them. While you run over a knot, Buster will quickly lose energy.
